Marwar is yearning, common people are suffering due to humidity

Jodhpur, June 24 (HS). The southwest monsoon is now progressing rapidly. Due to the moisture formed in the Arabian Sea, there are chances of monsoon becoming active in the state in a day or two. Pre-monsoon rains have started in some districts of the state, but western Rajasthan, Bikaner division are yearning for pre-monsoon rains. For the last two days, severe heat and humidity have made the common people miserable. There is movement of clouds over Marwar, but people are disappointed due to the absence of pre-monsoon rains till now. They are staring at the sky wondering when it will rain.

On Monday, clouds were seen in Jodhpur city and rural areas since morning. Despite the dark clouds, it did not rain till afternoon. People are facing severe heat and humidity. If the weather department is to be believed, monsoon will enter the state from 26th June. After this, it will gradually cover the state. That means now there are chances of direct monsoon rain in Marwar. Today, due to the clouds, the Sun God remained hidden behind them but the humidity badly affected the normal life. However, people felt relieved due to rain in Mandore area on Sunday.
