Maruti Swift CNG has been officially launched in the Indian market on 12 September 2024. Its new generation was launched by the company with a new petrol engine on 9 May 2024. About four months later, its CNG version has also been launched.
How powerful is the engine?
Maruti has given only the new Z series engine in Swift CNG. But some changes have been made in it as compared to petrol, after which the 1.2 liter capacity engine will give 69.75 PS of power and 101.8 Newton meter of torque in CNG mode. Only 5 speed manual transmission has been given with it.
How are the features?
In Maruti Swift CNG, the company has provided the same features as in the petrol version. It has features like ABS, ESP Plus, six airbags as standard, hill hold assist, automatic climate control, rear AC vent, wireless charger, 60:40 split seats, seven inch infotainment system, Suzuki Connect.
Value how much is it
The company has launched Swift CNG in several variants in the Indian market. These include VXI, VXI (O) and ZXI variants. Its base variant VXI is priced at Rs 819,500 ex-showroom and the top variant is priced at Rs 919,500 ex-showroom.

In the market, Maruti Swift CNG competes directly with cars like Hyundai Grand Nios CNG, Tata Tiago CNG and its premium hatchback Maruti Baleno CNG.
