Devshayani Ekadashi 2024: According to the Vedic calendar, the month of Ashadha will begin on Sunday, June 23. The Ekadashi date of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Ashadha is known as Devshayani Ekadashi or Vishnushayani Ekadashi. Thus, if we include the Adhik Maas in a year, there are a total of 26 Ekadashi fasts, but among these, Devshayani Ekadashi has its own special significance. According to the Vedic calendar, the Ekadashi date of Ashadh Shukla Paksha is starting on July 16 at 05:08 pm, which will last till the next day i.e. July 17 at 05:56 pm. According to Udayatithi, Devshayani Ekadashi will be celebrated on July 17.
