This marriage was organized by Dr. Girish Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Sadar Hospital. ART Center counselor Vijay Mandal played an important role in making this marriage successful. Vijay Mandal not only performed Kanyadaan of the girl but also provided kitchen utensils, clothes, bedding and other necessary items to the new couple to start their household.

The HIV-positive girl, who is an orphan, gets her medicines from the ART center in Darbhanga. At the same time, the young man takes medicine from the ART Center of Samastipur. Doctors said that the viral load of both the patients is controlled, due to which they can lead a normal and happy married life.

In the process of marriage, first of all the court marriage of both of them was done. After this, their marriage took place in the temple as per Hindu rituals. On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. S.
