Market rises on first day of trading, Sensex opens 400 points higher

The Indian stock market opened in the green zone today i.e. Monday 21st October. On Friday also the market closed with a gain of 218 points. Sensex is trading at 81,700, up more than 400 points. At present, a rise of more than 100 points is being seen in Nifty and it is trading at 24,950. IT, banking and metal stocks are showing more growth today. Shares of HDFC Bank and Tech Mahindra rose about 3%. Today a decline is being seen in auto and energy stocks.

Out of 30 Sensex companies that opened on Monday, shares of 21 companies were trading in the green mark and shares of 9 companies were trading in the red mark. Similarly, shares of 31 out of 50 companies of Nifty were trading with gains and shares of 19 companies were trading with losses.

Shares of HDFC Bank 2.88 per cent, Axis Bank 1.15 per cent, Reliance Industries 0.80 per cent, Asian Paints 0.79 per cent, HCL Tech 0.78 per cent, Tata Steel 0.77 per cent, UltraTech Cement 0.67 per cent, Titan Bank 0.16 per cent, I Shares rose. Per cent, shares of State Bank of India were trading up 0.58 per cent, JSW up 0.56 per cent, Maruti Suzuki up 0.54 per cent. Apart from this, shares of Larsen & Toubro, Sun Pharma, Infosys, PowerGrid, Tata Motors, NTPC, Nestle India and Bajaj Finance were also in gain.

At the same time, shares of Bharti Airtel rose by 0.91 percent, Bajaj Finserv by 0.31 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra by 0.22 percent, ITC by 0.13 percent, Hindustan Unilever by 0.09 percent, TCS by 0.08 percent, Adani Ports by 0.02 percent and Indus . The bank is doing 0.01 percent business.

The market remained bullish on Friday

Earlier on Friday i.e. 18th October, there was a surge in the stock market. Sensex closed at 81,224, up 218 points. Nifty also saw a jump of 104 points and closed at 24,854.
