Kathmandu, 26 October (HS). Nepal's main opposition party Maoist on Saturday demonstrated strength against the Oli government in the capital Kathmandu. In this demonstration, Maoist Chairman Prachanda himself was leading the procession on the road. The Maoists took to the streets with thousands of supporters and raised slogans against the government.

On completion of 100 days of Oli government, the shortcomings and weaknesses of the government were highlighted by claiming it to be a failed government. Speaking at the protest meeting, Maoist chairman Prachanda responded to Prime Minister Oli's allegation of a conspiracy against Maoists to topple the government. Prachanda said that there is no need for any conspiracy to topple the Oli government. This is a rotten fruit that will fall on its own.

Prachanda has also accused Oli of leading a failed government and disrupting Nepal's international relations. Addressing his supporters, Prachanda said that when he was leading the government three months ago, Nepal had cordial relations with both its neighboring countries. He said that during his one and a half year tenure, he had visited India, China and America. But it has been more than three months since Oli became the Prime Minister, but till now he has not received any invitation for a formal visit from India, China or America.

Prachanda said that the Oli government has failed from every point of view and to hide its failure, it is spreading rumors of the government's fall. He also said that the common people of Nepal have been troubled by the Oli government in just three months. Therefore, the public will topple this government from the streets itself. Giving the example of Bangladesh, Prachanda said that there was a government in power in Dhaka with two-thirds majority, but when the people took to the streets, the Prime Minister with two-thirds majority had to flee the country.
