Jaipur, 15 December (Hindustan Reporter). Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Sunday inaugurated the state level development exhibition ‘Ek Varsh-Pariman Utkarsh’ organized at Jawahar Kala Kendra on completion of one year of the state government. He visited the stalls of various departments including agriculture, animal husbandry, cooperative, medical, industry, energy and observed the development works, achievements and innovations done by the departments. He instructed all the departmental officers to spread maximum awareness about the schemes and extend the benefits to the last person.
Sharma inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp. He saw photos, sketches, models and other material including publications of the development works and schemes carried out in various areas during the one year tenure of the state government in the development exhibition giving the message of ‘fulfilment of responsibility – happiness in every house’. He appreciated the exhibition reflecting the government’s resolve to ‘Develop Rajasthan’.
Launch of three new housing schemes of JDA
The Chief Minister inaugurated three new housing schemes of Jaipur Development Authority at the stall of Urban Development and Housing Board. Along with inaugurating Atal Vihar, Govind Vihar and Patel Nagar Housing Scheme, he also released booklets of all three housing schemes. During this, Shri Sharma also inaugurated the process of paper-less name transfer through e-sign in JDA.
Sharma, in this exhibition organized by the Information and Public Relations Department, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department, Cooperative Department, RCDF (Dairy), Cow Husbandry Department, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Medical and Health, Labor and Planning, Public Works, Transport and Road Safety. , Information and Technology, Food and Civil Supplies, Planning, Rajasthan Housing Board, Urban Development Department, Jaipur Development Authority, Autonomous Governance, Information and Public Relations, Education, Social Justice and Empowerment, Women and Child Development, Public Observed the decisions, development works, plans and achievements taken by the Health Engineering Department, Industry, Energy, Home, Forest, Tourism and other departments in one year. He said that through this exhibition the general public will be able to get information about the welfare decisions, programmes, policies and schemes of the government.
Raj Sakhi (Saras) National Fair inaugurated
The Chief Minister inaugurated the Raj Sakhi (Saras) National Fair – 2024 by lighting the lamp at Jawahar Kala Kendra. He visited various stalls including Meenakari of Rajsamand, Blue Pottery of Jaipur, Pashmina Shawls of Jammu. After seeing the GI tagged products in the fair, he gave instructions to increase their number. During this, Additional Chief Secretary Rural Development Shreya Guha informed the Chief Minister about the various stalls set up in the National Fair.
Chief Minister flags off ambulance, interceptor and patrolling vehicles
Sharma flagged off 101 advance life support ambulances, 25 police patrolling vehicles, 22 police interceptor vehicles and 750 motorcycles in the ‘Pledge of Safety and Accessibility’ ceremony from Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Besides, the Chief Minister also flagged off 150 Kalika Patrolling Units for women’s safety and protection. During this, Sharma released balloons in the sky as a symbol of security and peace in the state.
