Khunti, 14 August (HS). On the eve of Independence Day, various competitions were organized in Birsa College Khunti on Wednesday. A colourful cultural program was also organized. A large number of students performed essays, paintings, quizzes, group and solo songs, patriotic dances and dramas.
120 students participated in the program and were given certificates. Among those who got first place were Anjali, Anamika, Tabinda, Sheelwanti, Diksha, Deepak and Hindi department in drama and Economics department in patriotic dance. The presentation of all the departments including Mundari was commendable. Principal G. Kiro asked the students to stay ahead on every occasion and motivated them to make the most of the opportunity.
