Many people feared dead after cab falls into ditch on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban, rescue work underway

Jammu: A tragic incident occurred on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway when a passenger taxi going from Jammu to Srinagar met with a fatal accident this morning. The vehicle went off the road and fell into a deep gorge along the highway in Ramban district. It is believed that many people died in this incident.

According to reports, the cab went out of control of the driver near Battery Chashma in Ramban district and fell into a ditch.

Meanwhile, relief and rescue operations have been started. Police, SDRF and Civil QRT Ramban are conducting rescue operations.
