Mumbai – A strange disease has engulfed three villages in Buldhana district of Maharashtra. The hair on the head of many men in the village has started falling within three to seven days. The increasing ‘percentage’ has spread concern among the villagers.

People of Bondgaon, Kalwad and Hingana villages of Buldhana district have started losing hair. Due to the complaint of this strange disease and the chaos created in the nearby villages, three teams of the health department reached the villages and collected water samples as well as samples of fallen hair and skin of the villagers and sent them to the laboratory for testing. , According to preliminary belief, the water of the village has been polluted due to chemical fertilizers. The amount of heavy metals in water has increased and this is causing hair fall.

The villagers complained in a worried tone that the hair of all the men and women had started falling. After hair fall starts, the head becomes bald within three to seven days. In front of the cameras of the electronic media, people demonstrated that as soon as they slowly turned their teeth on the head, a bunch of hair would come into their hand. When you wake up in the morning after a night’s sleep, there is a bunch of hair near the pillow. If women twirl their hair, the hair strands fall as if they were twirling scissors.

The health department team went to these three villages and investigated and told that more than 50 villagers are affected by this disease. However, doctors believe this number is likely to increase. The official said that treatment can be done based on the reports that will come after laboratory testing of water, hair and skin samples collected by the health department.

Shegaon Health Officer Dr. Deepali Bahekar is included in this team. He said that there is a possibility of hair fall due to polluted water.

According to officials of the Health Department team, it is possible that the water of the village may have been polluted due to excessive use of chemical fertilizers in farming. This can happen if there is too much calcium and magnesium in the water. However, a thorough investigation is underway to find out the exact cause.

Village Sarpanch Rama Patil Tharkar said that people are scared of this mysterious disease. People have to live with this percentage throughout their lives, whether they have baldness or hair loss that will come back. Now people are afraid to even touch Amsta. They fear that this will become true even if the hair is easily combed by hand.

The leaders of the area have demanded the health department to organize a health verification camp in the village. Information about this incident has also been given to the state health minister.
