Nainital, August 13 (HS). In Nainital, the Gram Panchayats have been newly formed or reorganized as per the requirement. Under this, Gram Panchayat Baidapokhara has been reorganized and Gram Panchayat Bajwalpur has been newly formed by adding six revenue villages in development block Haldwani. Similarly, revenue village Kaladhungi settlement and revenue village Choti Haldwani of Gram Panchayat Kaladhungi settlement of development block Kotabagh have been merged in Nagar Panchayat Kaladhungi.
The remaining revenue village Chorajali has been included in the Gram Panchayat Puranpur and this village has been reorganized with the name Puranpur. Similarly, by including village Chandni Chowk and revenue village Jhaluwajala settlement in Gram Panchayat Dewalchaud, Gram Panchayat Dewalchaud has been reorganized and revenue village Lokmanpur Chopra of Gram Panchayat Dayarampur Tanda of development block Ramnagar has been included in Udaipuri Chopra and Dayarampur Tanda and Udaipuri Chopda have been reorganized.
District Magistrate Vandana Singh said that as per the instructions of the Secretary Panchayati Raj, proposals were sought for the reorganization and reorganization of the Gram Panchayats in the development blocks. A total of 12 proposals were received on this. On the basis of the proposals, the Gram Panchayats have been reorganized or reorganized. If anyone has any objection in this regard, he can submit his written objection to the District Magistrate Office, District Panchayat Raj Officer Office and the concerned development block office by August 16. After this, no complaint received will be considered.
