Many Democrats are the only ones who doubt Biden's win after his poor performance in last week's debate

Washington: Many Democrats fundamentally committed to Joe Biden doubt his re-election. Even elected lawmakers in his own party say Biden should drop out of the race, especially after his poor performance in last week's debate against rival Donald Trump.

Many (most) Democrats were supporting Biden before last week's debate with Donald Trump, but that has changed drastically after Biden's poor performance in that debate. Even most Democrats now believe that Biden doesn't seem competent enough or even prepared enough to take on Republican candidate Donald Trump as far as political and strategic policies are concerned.

In such a situation, pressure is being put on Biden to withdraw from the contest. After giving the grant, some donors are now pressuring Biden to drop out of the race.

A Democratic aide of the House said that at least 25 Democratic members of the lower house of the US House of Representatives are considering sending a letter to Biden to formally withdraw from the presidential election.
