Due to the maximum temperature remaining for a long time, a furnace-like environment is created outside the houses. Temperatures up to 44 degrees were recorded in many districts of the state on Saturday. The highest maximum temperature this year has been recorded in Ahmedabad city at 44.2 degrees Celsius.
Meteorological Department scientist Ramashray Yadav said that many cities of the state were in the grip of extreme heat on Saturday. The maximum temperature of Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Deesa was around 44 degrees. Yellow alert has been issued for the next 5 days in Bhavnagar, Surendranagar, Porbandar, Junagadh, Kutch and Valsad. A day earlier on Friday, the maximum temperature in three districts of the state was more than 44 degrees. The highest temperature of 44.8 degrees Celsius was in Surendranagar. The maximum temperature in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar was 44.2 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, heatwave alert has been given in Valsad, Bhavnagar, Surendranagar, Porbandar, Junagadh and Kutch for the next 5 days. The maximum temperature in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar is 44.2 degrees Celsius. Orange alert has been issued in Ahmedabad for the next 48 hours. In the last 24 hours, Surendranagar in Gujarat was the hottest city in the state with a temperature of 48.8 degrees.
