Many BJP and BSP leaders from Gorakhpur joined SP

Lucknow, 28 October (HS). Expressing faith in the policies, programs of Samajwadi Party (SP) and the leadership of Samajwadi Party National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, many senior leaders of BJP and BSP of Gorakhpur today joined Samajwadi Party.

Akhilesh Yadav has expressed hope that the party will be strengthened by the arrival of new colleagues, while all the people involved in the Samajwadi Party will work unitedly to give a massive victory to the SP in the 2027 assembly elections and the victory of the Samajwadi Party candidates in the recent by-elections. Resolved to do. Professor Shailendra Kumar Srivastava, former Principal MG Post Graduate College Gorakhpur, left BJP before Akhilesh Yadav and joined Samajwadi Party. Acharya Mukesh Kumar Srivastava of Gorakhpur also took membership of Samajwadi Party. Mukesh Srivastava is honored with Rahul Sanskritiyan Award from Uttar Pradesh Hindi Institute.

Javed Simnani, who was the BSP candidate from Sadar Lok Sabha constituency Gorakhpur, has left BSP and joined Samajwadi Party. He has held important positions in the BSP organization for the last 20 years. On this occasion, chief spokesperson of Samajwadi Party Rajendra Chaudhary, former metropolitan president and former assembly candidate from rural assembly constituency Gorakhpur Zafar Amin Dakku, district vice president Devendra Bhushan Nishad and district vice president of Chandauli district Parvez Ahmed were also present.
