Keeping in mind the safety of passengers, crew members and aircraft, many major airlines have suspended their services. Many airlines have also temporarily suspended their services. In such a situation, passengers who are planning to travel to Middle East countries may have to make major changes in their plans.
Which airlines have suspended services?
Several airlines, notably Air India, Air France-KLM, Lufthansa, Keith Pacific and Delta Airlines, have suspended services to Tel Aviv, Beirut and other destinations due to security concerns.
Various airlines took decisions
•Air India: The Indian airline company has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv, Israel till further notice.
•Air Algeria: The Algerian airline has cancelled all its flights to Lebanon until further notice.
Air France-KLM: Air France cancelled all services to Beirut and Tel Aviv till September 19. However, their services are not working smoothly even today. KLM has suspended all flights to Tel Aviv till October 26 and services to Beirut and other destinations till March 31, 2025.
• Cathay Pacific: The Hong Kong-based airline has announced it will suspend all flights to Tel Aviv until March 2025.
Delta Airlines: The US carrier has suspended flights between New York and Tel Aviv until December 31, 2024.
•Lufthansa Group: The German airline has suspended all flights to Tel Aviv and Tehran until September 19, while flights to Beirut have been suspended until September 30.
