Paris Olympics 2024: Indian shooter Manu Bhaker has created history by winning a bronze medal for India at the Paris Olympics. Now Manu Bhaker has once again raised the hope of a bronze medal for India. The pair of Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh have qualified for the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. Both of them shot 20 perfect shots in the qualification round and entered the next medal match with a total of 580 points. The Manu-Sarabjot pair will now face Lee Wo Ho and Oh Ye Jin of South Korea for the bronze medal match. The match will be played on July 30 at 1 pm.
In this competition, Lee Jin finished fourth with 18 perfect shots and 579 points. Now there will be a competition between Turkey and Serbia for the gold medal. Manu won the bronze medal in the women's 10 meter air pistol event on Sunday and became the first Indian woman shooter to win a medal in the Olympics. She won a medal for India in shooting at the Olympics after 12 years.
