Mansa player performed brilliantly, won gold medal in Asia Cup archery competition

Praneet Kaur, a player from Mandhali village in Mansa district of Punjab, is continuously achieving achievements in the sport of archery, which also includes becoming the Asian Games-2023 gold medalist and world champion. Players have once again brought glory to Punjab. Praneet Kaur has won the gold medal in the ongoing Asia Cup Archery Stage-1 women's individual event in Baghdad, Iraq.

Playing for India, Praneet Kaur won the women's compound archery gold medal by defeating Iran's Fatemeh Hemati. In the men's category, Praneet Kaur defeated Fatemeh 138-135 while Prathamesh Joker defeated compatriot Kushal Dalal 146-144.

Sharing this happiness, the player's father Ma: Avtar Singh Mandhali said that daughter Praneet has achieved many achievements under the guidance of coach Surinder Singh Randhawan of Punjabi University, Patiala.
