Mandsaur: Pashupatinath Management Committee met regarding preparations for Mahashivratri

Mandsaur, March 7 (HS). On the occasion of Mahashivratri festival, special events will be organized in pagodas from the city to the rural areas. Preparations are being made for this for many days. Special preparations are being made for Mahashivratri in Lord Pashupatinath temple of Mandsaur. At the same time, there is joy among Shiva devotees in Shiva temples from city to village.

For the preparations in the world famous Lord Pashupatinath Temple, a special meeting of the Temple Management Committee was also held on Thursday in which MLA Vipin Jain, Municipal President Ramadevi Gurjar, Collector Dilip Kumar Yadav, District Superintendent of Police Anurag Sujania, and many officers and employees inspected the temple. The MLA directed the officials regarding security arrangements and other arrangements in the meeting.

Under the aegis of Shri Krishna Kamdhenu Social and Religious Public Trust, this year too, on the occasion of Mahashivratri, 51 quintals of Fariyali Khichdi Prasad will be distributed in Bhootbhavan Lord Shri Pashupatinath Mahadev Temple on Friday, March 8, on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival. On Mahashivratri, on Friday at 11 am, after Rajbhog darshan, the organization will offer Fariyali Khichdi to Lord Pashupatinath and then Prasad will be distributed to the devotees.

As per tradition, Mahabhishek of Lord Jageshwar will be performed on 8th March at 10 pm in the city's very ancient and miraculous Shiva temple situated at Neem Chowk, with the melodious sounds of Indian classical and easy music by the invited music artists till the end of the night.

As per every year, this year also Mahashivratri festival will be celebrated with great pomp on 8th March in the very ancient and miraculous Shri Bhuteshwar Mahadev Temple located in the old vegetable market, Ghantaghar. For this, all preparations have been completed by the Trust. For Mahashivratri, the temple has been decorated with electrical decorations and flowers. Arrangements have been made to have separate queues for men and women for the darshan of Lord Bhuteshwar Mahadev.
