Manda Puja will be held on 23rd and Lord Shiva's procession will be held on 24th.

Ranchi, May 21 (HS). Shri Manda Puja and Cultural Program Committee is organizing Manda Puja this year also on 23rd May. On the day of Buddha Purnima, May 23, rituals like Vetjori, Lotan Seva, Samadhi Bhet etc. will be held in the Shiva temple premises from 2 pm onwards. The devotees will be hung one by one on a peg and swung over the fire.

After this there will be flowering. Devotees will walk on fire. In this sequence, the team of Purulia and Jhalda will perform Chhau dance. On May 24, from Argora Dadulghat, all the devotees will dress up in colorful clothes and take part in a huge procession of Lord Shiva, which will circumambulate the Budha Mahadev temple.
