A person resident of Devrad village of Julana wrote in a group created on WhatsApp named Sombir Rathi Halka Julana that whoever becomes the Chief Minister, I will shoot him, the way Godse shot Mahatma Gandhi. Julana police station has registered the case and arrested the accused.
In the complaint given to Julana police station, Mahtab Saini, resident of Ramkali village, said that the results of the assembly elections were declared on October 8.
Around 4 pm, a WhatsApp group was created in the name of Sombir Rathi Halka Julana, in which a person named Ajmer posted and wrote that if BJP comes to Haryana for the third time, I will shoot whoever becomes the Chief Minister. The same thing will happen, the way Mahatma Gandhi was killed by Godse. Julana police station registered a case on the complaint of Mahtab and arrested Ajmer, a resident of Devrad village. Giving information on Saturday, investigating officer Anil said that the accused has been arrested and sent to jail. The accused has no criminal record and does not have any contact with Sombir Rathi, the husband of the candidate from Julana.
