Threat Message to Salman Khan: Mumbai Police, which is investigating the case of sending threatening messages to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, has arrested a person from Jamshedpur. The accused has been identified as Sheikh Hussain Sheikh Mohsin, a vegetable trader from Jamshedpur. Last week, a threatening message was received on Mumbai Traffic Police's WhatsApp helpline demanding a ransom of Rs 5 crore from the actor. After which the police have registered the case and started investigation. After the arrest of the accused, now Worli Police will present him in a court of Jharkhand for transit remand. After getting remand, he will be brought to Mumbai.
'Sorry' message sent after threat
A police officer said that the police got information about that number in Jharkhand and a team was sent to nab the accused. Another team was also sent to Guwahati. The police started their investigation to find out the identity of the sender of the message, but Mumbai Traffic Police received an apologetic message from the same number which read, 'It happened to me by mistake.'
Mumbai Police said, 'Investigation was conducted with the help of local police in Jamshedpur and the person who sent the threatening message was arrested. Now he will be brought to Mumbai.
Salman Khan is continuously receiving threats
Let us tell you that earlier, actor Salman Khan had received death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In April this year, suspected gang members opened fire outside Salman Khan's Bandra house. A few months ago, Navi Mumbai Police had busted a plot by the Bishnoi gang to kill Salman Khan, after which the actor's security was increased.
