Bankura, 21 August (HS). In Vishnupur of Bankura district, two youths have been accused of stopping the car of a woman judge and abusing her and making obscene gestures. The judge's security guard caught one of the accused youths from the spot and handed him over to the police.
Sources in Bankura's Bishnupur Magistrate Court said on Wednesday that a woman judge working in Bishnupur Magistrate Court was returning to her residence by car on Tuesday night at around 9:35 pm. It is alleged that when the judge reached her residence, two youths stopped her car. The matter did not end here, both the youths started abusing the woman judge and also made obscene gestures at her.
During the incident, when the judge's security guard got down from the car, both the youths tried to run away. But the security guard caught one of the youths and handed him over to Bishnupur police station. On Wednesday, the police presented the accused in the court.
According to the information received, the search is on for the second youth. The lawyers of Bishnupur Magistrate Court decided not to fight the case in the court on behalf of the arrested accused.
