Mamta announced names of 42 TMC candidates

The Bharat alliance has suffered a major setback in West Bengal. Trinamool Congress president and state CM Mamata Banerjee announced her candidates for all 42 Lok Sabha seats in the state without giving any cost to the Congress. Addressing an election rally in Kolkata, Mamata Didi, while announcing the candidates from the state, announced the name of Yusuf Pathan from Behrampur seat, who will contest against senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. Mamta gave opportunity to 32 new faces

Apart from Yusuf Pathan, TMC has also given ticket to former cricketer Kirti Azad from Durgapur seat of Burdwan. There are some MLAs in this list of TMC who have now been given tickets to become MPs.
