Mamata Banerjee: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had earlier said that if India forms a coalition government, I will support it from outside. Then just 24 hours later, the Chief Minister backtracked from her statement and said that TMC is and will remain a part of the India alliance.
India placed this condition against the alliance
Now he has put forward three conditions against the India alliance during a meeting on Sunday. He says that if the opposition group forms the government, then first of all CAA, NRC and UCC will have to be repealed. Experts believe that his statement has been given keeping in mind that there should be no division of Muslim votes even in the last phase.
Support from outside was called for
Mamata had recently talked about external support to the India Alliance. Mamata had said that if the India Alliance government comes to power, I will support them from outside.
The Bengal CM said that the whole country has understood that BJP is a party full of thieves. We (TMC) will support the All India Alliance from outside to form the government at the Centre. We will give our support so that our mothers and sisters in Bengal never face any problem and those working under the 100 days employment scheme also do not face any problem.
Adhir Ranjan took aim
Reacting to Mamata Banerjee's statement, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan said that she does not trust herself and said that she may leave the alliance and join the BJP.
