Mumbai, May 12 (HS). Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge said that votes should be sought for development work in the country but at this time Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seeking votes by making divisive statements in the Hindu-Muslim community every day.

Mallikarjun Kharge, while addressing the election rally in Dhule on Sunday, said that the Congress party fought shoulder to shoulder with Mahatma Gandhi. Many people were hanged and brought freedom to the country. Whereas Prime Minister Narendra Modi says what has Congress done for the country?

Kharge said that if Congress had not existed, the country would not have been independent and if it had not worked for the last 70 years, Narendra Modi could not have become the Prime Minister of the country. Kharge said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is giving divisive statements in the Hindu-Muslim community every day. Uthsut Mughals, Muslims and Mangalsutras use the same language and chant this time 400 times.

The Congress President said that now the picture has changed in the country and it is difficult for BJP to get not 400 but even 40 seats across the country.

Kharge said that the language of changing the Constitution was made public in the year 2015. Even now BJP MPs are talking about changing the Constitution.
