The Women's Commission has made several major proposals for the safety of women, including a ban on taking measurements of women's clothes by male tailors, requirement of women trainers in gyms and yoga centres. This proposal was presented in the Women's Commission meeting on 28 October.

Female trainers in gyms and yoga centres:
Uttar Pradesh Women's Commission has proposed that all women's gym And appointment of women trainers in yoga centers should be made mandatory. Along with this, it has also been suggested to install CCTV cameras at these centers to keep the activities of women safe and keep an eye on any untoward incident.

In this sequence, the Women's Commission proposed that keeping in mind the safety of women while sewing, male tailors should be prevented from taking measurements of women. The commission said women often have bad experiences when male tailors take measurements. It has been said that for women's safety, only female employees in tailor shops should take measurements of women and in the shops CCTV cameras should also be installed.

Female security guards in all school buses:
The Commission has also suggested that women security guards or women teachers should be appointed in all school buses so that the travel of school girls is also safe. Similarly, it said that in salons and beauty parlors only female employees should take care of female customers and CCTV cameras should be installed at these places also.

Women's Commission member Himani Aggarwal said that these decisions are necessary to protect the rights and dignity of women. He said that the objective of the commission is to create a safe environment for women.
