Agra: Maldives President Mohammed Muizzu and First Lady Sajida Mohammed visited the world famous Taj Mahal today. Seeing this great architecture Muizzju said that I have no words to describe its magnificent beauty, words cannot do justice to its beauty. He also wrote this in the visitors book. He also wrote that the amazing carvings of this architecture are mesmerizing. Architecture has reached its peak here. A wonderful combination of romance and architecture can be seen here.
When Muizzu and the first lady arrived from Delhi to see the world-famous architecture, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Yogendra Upadhyay welcomed him at the airport on behalf of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and accompanied him to see the Taj Mahal. Also told the history of the construction of Taj Mahal, and also gave a booklet of that history which had complete information about the Taj. The President and the First Lady also posed for photographs while viewing the Taj. When the President and the First Lady visited the Taj, the Taj was closed to the public.
When he was returning after visiting the Taj Mahal, Yogendra Upadhyay gifted him a replica of the Taj. After this, both of them went to Muktakaash Shilp Village Vraj Pradesh where the artists welcomed them with dance.
Generally: When a foreign dignitary visits another country, the visit is for two or at most three days. This journey of Muizzu lasted for four days. He was given a grand guard of honor along with a red carpet welcome. He also took out time to meet big industrialists based in Mumbai. After this, there was a meeting between him and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday in which several agreements were reached including mutual exchange of currency and currency cards in Maldives as well as construction of a new runway at Honeymadhu International Airport in Male. In short, they were attracted by their grand welcome and the grandeur of India, the grand beauty of its grand monument (the Taj).
From this it can be said that China is trying to establish a foothold in Maldives but is not able to reach there. It is also possible that India-Maldives may sign defense agreements in the future. However, right now the Indian warships are anchored at the ports of Maldives for some rest while sailing in the Indian Ocean.
Being located in the middle of the Indian Ocean, India's growing influence on the island nation is likely to have an impact on Sri Lanka as well and that is why the Muizzu couple have been given so much respect. The island nation that once said India is out, now says Welcome India. It is also named to attract tourists from India.
