Paneer is a dish which is often made on special occasions. Children and adults alike are crazy about it. Whenever someone eats out, he definitely orders a paneer dish. Material:
Paneer – 250 grams
Butter – 1 cup
Tomato puree – 1 cup
Cream – 1/2 cup
Cinnamon – 2 pieces
Green cardamom – 3
Large cardamom – 1
Red chilli powder – 2 teaspoons
Tomato ketchup – 1 tsp
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) – 2 teaspoons
Grated cheese – 2 teaspoons
Salt – as per taste
Water – as per requirement
Method:
– First of all heat butter in a pan. When the butter melts, add cinnamon, green cardamom and black cardamom.
After frying for a few seconds, add tomato puree to it.
Now fry this mixture well in the pan. Keep the gas flame medium.
Now add salt, red chilli powder, sugar and tomato ketchup to the tomato puree.
Then take the paneer, cut it into medium sized pieces and mix it into the puree. Mix well.
– Now add 1/2 cup water to it and cover the mixture with a lid and let it cook.
– After cooking for a few minutes, add Kasuri Methi and mix well.
Then add cream to Paneer Makhani and mix well. When it boils well, garnish it with grated cheese.
