Ingredients for Making Milk Crop
- 1 liter milk
- 1 tbsp sama rice
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- a little saffron
- Half bowl finely chopped dry fruits
Method of making milk crop
- To make Dudhpak, first wash the same rice with clean water and drain the water. – Now mix ghee well in the same rice and keep it aside.
- – Mix saffron in 2-3 spoons of milk and keep aside.
- – Now keep the milk boiling on medium flame, when the milk becomes thick then add ghee in it and cook.
- – Cook rice and milk on medium flame while stirring continuously.
- Also add dry fruits, saffron and cardamom powder and mix.
- Cook it while stirring for 30-40 minutes and when it is cooked well, turn off the flame and let it cool down.
- When the Milk Pak cools down, take it out in a bowl and serve garnished with dry fruits and rose petals.
Follow these tips while making Doodhpak
- To make the milk creamy, use full cream milk.
- The slower you cook Milk Pak, the better the taste.
- Condensed milk can be used for better taste.
