- 1 bowl wheat flour
- 1 bowl millet flour
- 2 teaspoons oil for mouth
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tsp chili
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- 2 tablespoons curd
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 100 gms fenugreek leaves, wash and dry
- 8-10 cloves of garlic
- salt to taste
Method of preparation
– First of all take flour in a big vessel. – Now add moona and all the ingredients in it. Mix it well with hands. – Now add water to it and knead a dough like a bag. – Now take it out and knead it with the help of white wheat. – Now heat a pan, pour ghee or oil on it and fry thepla. – When thepla is cooked to a light brown color from both sides, keep it in an airtight container. On the day of Saatam, you can also serve thepla with pickle or curd.
