Make this papad at home on Holi! Recipe very easy!

Many types of dishes are prepared in homes on Holi. Papad is also made in many homes on this day. You must have consumed Dal Papad, Aloo Papad, Rice Papad, Sabudana Papad etc. many times. Today we have brought the recipe of Potato and Arrowroot Papad for you. So let us know how you can prepare it.

Material:

boiled potatoes

1 cup arrowroot

finely ground black pepper

Celery

Nigella seeds

Salt

Water

Oil

Big flat pan for making papad

Instruction:

– Mash the boiled potatoes well.

In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup arrowroot with 6 cups water.

Add salt, celery, nigella and finely ground black pepper to the arrowroot-water mixture.

Cook this mixture on low flame while stirring continuously.

As soon as it starts thickening or lumps start forming, add water to dilute it.

This papad batter should be thin but thick in appearance.

When the batter is ready, spread a foil in the sun and apply light oil on it.

Then with the help of a spoon add papad batter and spread it giving shape.

Spread all the batter in this manner.

After this, dry the papad by keeping it in the sun for a few days daily. When it dries, put it in oil and fry it and enjoy. Let us tell you that while making papad, keep in mind that add less salt in it. Papad does not contain much salt or spices. Due to this its taste gets spoiled.
