While addressing the membership campaign workshop, Chief Guest MP and State General Secretary Amarpal Maurya said that BJP's membership campaign will be launched on September 1 by making the Prime Minister a member of the party. He said that membership is the basis of the strength of the organization. Membership is a process of ideology. Membership has to be made all-encompassing, omnipresent and all-inclusive. We have to reach out to every person, class and region and work to make everyone a member of the party.
BJP's membership campaign workshop was organized at the BJP office on Friday. He further said that the responsibility of building the country lies on the shoulders of BJP workers. For us, the country comes first, then the party and then the individual. A target of making 4 lakh members has been set in the district. He said that we are proud that BJP is a party of all communities.
He said that from September 1, any citizen can become a member of BJP through missed call QR code, Namo app and BJP website. For missed call, BJP has issued mobile number 8800002024. People above 18 years can take membership of BJP. District President Dr RA Verma, while addressing the workshop, said that Mandal Membership Workshop will be organized between 25th and 27th August. Training workshop will be organized at booths on 31st August. 200 members will be made at each booth. The workshop was conducted by District General Secretary Ghanshyam Chauhan.
Targets have been set for everyone from MLA to others. In the campaign, the District President will make 1 thousand members, MLA 10 thousand, District Panchayat President 15 thousand, Municipal Corporation President 2 thousand, Nagar Panchayat President 1 thousand, Ward Councillors 200 and all others will make at least 100 members. This time the membership campaign will be run by setting up camps in public places.
BJP spokesperson Vijay Singh Raghuvanshi said that a five-member team has been formed at the district level for the membership campaign.
