How to make Soji Sweet Potato
Ingredients to make Soji Sweet Potato
- 2 cups semolina/rava
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup ghee
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1/4 cup dry coconut
- 3 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- oil for frying
- Green chilly
How to Make Sesame Sweet Potatoes
- – First of all take a grinding jar.
- – Add 2 cups of semolina in it and make a fine powder.
- Take a wide plate and add semolina powder and 1/2 cup curd in it.
- In a grinding jar, add 3/4 cup sugar, 5 tbsp desiccated coconut, 1/4 cup ghee, 1 pinch of salt and 1/4 tsp baking soda.
- – Now mix everything well and make a fine paste.
- – Now add the prepared paste to semolina and mix well.
- – Add 2-3 spoons of white sesame seeds and 1/2 inch cardamom powder, mix well and knead a soft dough.
- – Now keep the dough in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, take out the dough from the refrigerator and roll it.
- – Now make triangles and cut them into medium thick pieces.
- – Now keep a pan on flame.
- Add oil for frying and heat it well.
- – When the oil becomes medium hot, add the prepared pieces in it and fry well on medium flame.
- When the sweet potatoes become golden and crunchy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your Semolina Sweet Potato is completely ready.
