Ingredients for making sour dough
- Bengal gram lentil,
- Moong dal,
- Toor lentil,
- urad dal,
- Rice,
- white paws,
- chilli-ginger-garlic paste,
- Curd,
- Water,
- baking soda,
- Oil,
- Salt,
- rye,
- Cumin,
- mole,
- green coriander,
- large neem leaves
How to make Khatta Dhokla
step 1
Firstly, soak rice and all pulses in water overnight or for 8 hours.
Step-2 –
Now grind curd and water in a mixer and prepare halwa. Soak Pawan also and grind it.
Step-3
Now mix it well and cover it and leave it to ferment for 6 hours. – Then add chilli-ginger-garlic paste, salt, baking soda, you can also add chopped vegetables in it. You can add carrots, capsicum, fenugreek. So that your vegetables become Dhokla.
Step-4 –
Now apply oil in a plate and heat some water in the dhokli.
Step-5 –
Now apply oil in a plate, pour the batter, sprinkle cumin and red chilli powder on top, put it in dhokli and steam it. – Now take it out and cut it into pieces with a knife. Then change the oil. Khatta Dhokla is ready, serve.
