Sabudana Vada is a popular and nutritious dish in India, often eaten as a snack, but is more commonly consumed during fasting at home. Material:

1 cup sago

1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes

1/4 cup finely chopped peanuts

1/4 cup finely chopped green chilli

1/4 cup finely chopped coriander

1/2 tsp cumin

1/4 tsp asafoetida

1/4 tsp red chili powder

1/4 tsp coriander powder

1/4 tsp garam masala

salt as per taste

oil for frying

Instruction:

First of all, soak the sago in water for 3-4 hours and drain off the excess water.

– Mash the soaked sago well.

In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, chopped peanuts, green chillies, green coriander, cumin seeds, asafoetida, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt.

To make this mixture, mix everything well.

– Divide this mixture into small portions and shape them into round vadas.

– After this, heat oil in a pan and fry the vadas until they become golden brown.

Serve hot with green chutney and curd.

Tips:

– Do not keep sago soaked for too long, it may cause the vadas to become soft.

While frying vadas, keep the flame medium.

Adjust the quantity of spices according to your taste.

You can also add roasted gram, onion or tomato to the mixture.

You can also serve vada with green chutney, tamarind chutney or tomato chutney.
