Make restaurant-like Dum Aloo at home, note the recipe | News India


If you have Dum Aloo ki sabzi with hot roti, then eating becomes a pleasure. Today I will tell you the recipe of making delicious Dum Aloo Shake at home just like in restaurants.

Ingredients for making Dum Aloo:

  • 4-5 medium potatoes
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 tablespoons curd

How to make Dum Aloo

  • Wash and peel the potatoes. Boil them.
  • Finely chop onion, tomato, green chilli and garlic.
  • – Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  • Then add onion and fry till golden brown.
  • Add chopped green chilies, garlic and tomatoes and cook until soft.
  • – Add potatoes and necessary spices and mix.
  • – Then add curd and mix. Add salt and water and cook on low flame.
  • Add garam masala powder and mix, garnish with green coriander. Serve with hot naan, roti or rice.
