Easy way to make Masala Pav

  • To make Masala Pav, first prepare red chili paste. For this, soak dry red chilli in water for 1 hour. To prepare this paste, apart from red chilli, add garlic, ginger and garam masala. – Prepare a paste by grinding the mixture in a mixer grinder.
  • – Now prepare the masala for masala pav. For this, turn on the gas on low flame and keep the pan on it. – When the pan is hot, add butter. The best thing is that less ingredients are used in making this masala.
  • When the butter melts, first fry the onion. – Now add finely chopped green chillies. – Then add pav bhaji masala. – After this add coriander powder, cumin powder and salt. Fry the spices well.
  • – Now add prepared red chilli paste to this mixture. By adding just two spoons in it you will get excellent taste.
  • – Now add tomatoes to this mixture and cook well. Keep in mind that you have to cook the tomatoes by mashing them gently. When tomatoes start cooking, add chopped capsicum.
  • When the rawness of capsicum goes away, add lemon juice to this mixture. Adding lemon balances the bitterness of the spices. Yes, if you are using sour tomatoes then do not add lemon juice. In this way the masala will be ready.
  • – Now cut the pav from the middle. – Apply butter in the same pan in which you have prepared the masala and bake the pav. No need to wash or wipe the pan.
  • Actually, the remaining masala or scrap, which sticks to the pan, enhances the taste of this masala pav.
  • Once the pav is cooked, add chopped coriander and spread the masala. Cover the pav with another cut piece and press it. – Cook it on the pan once from both the sides. – After this, garnish the masala pav with sev and serve it hot.
