Make mango pickle with this easy recipe, it will not spoil for a long time

In the summer season, as soon as raw mangoes arrive, pickles start being made in the houses. Mango pickle is made from raw mangoes and whole spices. While making mango pickle, a good amount of oil is added so that the mangoes become soft.

Material

  • Raw mango – 1 kg
  • Salt – 100 grams
  • Turmeric powder – 2 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
  • Mustard oil – 250 ml
  • Fenugreek seeds – 2 tablespoons
  • Fennel seeds – 2 tablespoons
  • Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard – 2 tablespoons

  • To make mango pickle, first wash the raw mangoes thoroughly and dry them. – After keeping them well in the sun, cut the mangoes into small pieces.
  • Take out the ghee and keep it aside. – After this, put mango pieces in a big tub and add salt and turmeric powder to it.
  • – Now mix it well and keep it covered for 1-2 hours so that the mango water drains out.
  • – Now heat mustard oil in a pan. Heat it until it starts smoking. – Then let the oil cool down.
  • While the oil is cooling, roast fenugreek seeds and fennel seeds and once cooled, grind them coarsely.
  • – After this, add mustard and coriander spice mixture, red chili powder and asafoetida in a large bowl.
  • Mix mango pieces, salt and turmeric in the spice mixture. – After this, add mustard oil to the mango and mix everything well.
  • – Now you can store this pickle. Mango pickle tastes very delicious.
