Ingredients to make Makhana Kheer:
2 cups of butter
2 tbsp ghee
a pinch of cardamom powder
1 liter milk
sugar to taste
Almonds, pistachios, cashews (cut into pieces)
How to make makhana kheer:
– Heat a pan and add some ghee in it.
– Fry the makhana in ghee until it turns light brown.
-Put 1 liter milk in a deep pan and boil it. – When the milk boils, add roasted makhana in it.
-While the makhana is boiling in milk, take another pan and add all the dry fruits in it and fry them in ghee.
-Makhana should dissolve completely in milk. When the makhana starts becoming soft and the kheer starts thickening, add all the roasted dry fruits to it.
-Keep stirring the kheer until it thickens to the desired consistency.
-After this add cardamom powder and sugar to the kheer and mix well. then turn off the flame
