necessary ingredients:
- four hundred grams rice flour
- a cup of curd
- half cup semolina
- half teaspoon mustard
- four whole red chillies
- eight spoons of oil
- sugar (as per taste)
- a pinch of asafoetida powder
- water as required
- two spoons lemon juice
- Salt as per taste.
This is a very easy method of preparation:
First of all, prepare a smooth paste by mixing rice flour, semolina, curd, sugar and two spoons of oil in a vessel.
– Now add sufficient amount of water in it. – Now add lemon juice and asafoetida in it and leave it overnight.
– Now boil water in a steamer and put this paste in a plate and steam it for half an hour. Now take it out.
– Now cool it, cut it and keep it in a plate.
– Now you have to heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard in it.
– Now add four tablespoons of water and heat it.
– Now add dhokla to it and add red chilli as per taste.
After this, add grated coconut and green coriander for garnish.
In this way your Dhokla is made.
