Recipe
– First of all add half cup sugar in the mixer. After this, add dry coconut cut into pieces along with sugar.
Then add 1 teaspoon fennel and grind everything coarsely. Now take wheat flour and mix semolina in it.
– Add powdered sugar, coconut and fennel powder to the flour. After this, add 4 tablespoons of ghee to the flour and mix everything well.
For kneading, make a ball of dough and check whether the dough is sticking or not. Now take milk to knead the dough and then add milk little by little and knead a stiff dough.
Slowly, add milk little by little and knead into a stiff dough.
– Divide the dough into two parts, knead each part and place it on a board or flat surface and make a thick, flat circle, similar to a thick chapati.
– Use a glass or lid to cut the dough into round biscuit shapes. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough.
– Using a fork, lightly make small holes in each biscuit, and ensure that they cook evenly.
– Heat oil in a pan. When hot, reduce the flame slightly, then carefully add the biscuits. Let it cook well from all sides, do not turn immediately, as this may break the biscuits.
Fry until golden brown, then keep them aside to cool completely.
Once cooled, store the biscuits in an airtight container.
-Enjoy these crunchy homemade biscuits!
