Ingredients to make Crispy Kachori

  • 1 cup mango dal
  • 4 cups menda
  • 4 spoon gram flour
  • oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp dry mango powder
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon fennel
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • a pinch of asafoetida
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • salt to taste

How to make crispy kachori

  • Soak moong in water for at least 5 to 6 hours.
  • – Then separate the water and grind the moong coarsely.
  • After this, add oil, salt and celery to the flour and knead the dough.
  • – Now take out the moong in a vessel.
  • – Heat oil in a pan and add gram flour, cumin, coriander powder, fennel, turmeric, red chilli powder, salt, dry mango powder and coriander seeds.
  • – After this add pulses.
  • Then fry the lentils well with spices.
  • Finally, make balls of the dal and keep it aside.
  • – Then fill the dough with dough and shape it into a kachori.
  • – After this, filter the Kachori and serve it hot.
