Ranchi, 17 February (HS). Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha directed all zonal officers to provide records related to crop damage caused to farmers due to hailstorm on February 14.
He said on Saturday that records related to crop damage caused to farmers due to hailstorm should be made available soon, so that compensation can be given to the farmers at the right time. Giving instructions regarding this, the DC said that a help desk should be created in their respective zones and applications should be given for crop damage caused by hailstorm. A proposal related to this has been prepared and sent through Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Sadar-Bundu Ranchi by 20th February.
