Kanpur, 03 April (Hindus). There was chaos in the industrial city on Wednesday due to the establishment of a dal mill and an English liquor shop. The fire brigade personnel, who were activated on information, have brought the fire under control after tireless efforts at both the places. However, there is no information about any casualty during this period. The loss of property destroyed in the fire is being assessed.
According to the information of the fire brigade, a massive fire suddenly broke out in S.S. Industry Dal Mill located in Fazalganj police station area on Wednesday morning. As soon as the news of the fire was received, fire brigade personnel from Fazalganj fire station reached the spot with two fire engines and after an hour of tireless efforts, they were successful in controlling the fire. An investigation is underway to find out how the fire broke out and how much property was destroyed. Investigation is ongoing in this regard.
Similarly, a massive fire broke out in an English liquor shop located in Naubasta police station area on Wednesday. On receiving information about the fire, personnel from Fire Station Kidwai Nagar, Fazalganj and Mirpur reached the spot with a total of three fire engines and after working tirelessly for more than an hour, they somehow managed to control the fire.
Deputy Commissioner of Police South Ravindra Kumar said that investigation is going on regarding how the fire broke out. At present, prima facie the cause of the fire is believed to be short circuit. But until the investigation is completed, the clear cause of the fire will not be known.
