A bridge girder collapsed on Friday morning in Supaul, Bihar. The incident is said to have happened around seven in the morning. The death of one laborer has been confirmed. Many workers were crushed and injured in this accident. Its figures are not clear yet. During this incident, nearby people gathered at the spot. The girder of the pillar between 152, 153 and 154 has collapsed. This bridge is being built at a cost of Rs 1200 crore.

According to the information, the work of this bridge is being done by Trans Rail Company. There is a 10.5 km long bridge which is being constructed under the Bharat Mala Project. The bridge is to be constructed from Bakour in Supaul to Bhija in Madhubani. after this incident Immediately Relief work was started. Senior officials also arrived after the incident. Supaul SP said that so far six people have been injured in this incident. He has been brought to the hospital for treatment. On the other hand, after the incident, the people gathered nearby started creating ruckus. He told that the quality of the bridge being built is not good. Nothing is given to the workers in the name of security.

According to local people, about 30 laborers may be buried under the girder of the bridge. Many people were evacuated and taken to Supaul on motorcycle for treatment. People also made serious allegations against the company that built the bridge. Said that no company official came after the incident. Even the small staff did not come. Chief Surinder Yadav, who was present on the spot, said that we used to complain to the company again and again. On the contrary, we were threatened that we would be sent to jail. You people come to demand ransom. Surinder Yadav said that the number of workers could be 40 to 50.
