Amarjeet alias Bittu, the sharp shooter in the murder of Nanakmatta Sahib Dera chief Baba Tarsem Singh, was killed in an encounter by the police and STF. The competition took place in Haridwar late on Monday night. According to the information, information was received that Amarjeet Singh was going from Punjab to Rampur, after which STF and Haridwar Police set up a blockade. But the accused opened fire on the police. Amarjeet was shot in retaliatory firing. He was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
According to the information received, this encounter took place in Bhagwanpur area of Haridwar. However, in the meantime, another companion of Amarjeet managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness. The police team is searching for him. It is noteworthy that Baba Tarsem Singh was shot dead by two bike-riding miscreants on the morning of March 28. Since then, the police is busy uncovering the murderers and the murder conspiracy.
Earlier, the police had exposed the Nanakkatta Dera chief murder case and arrested four conspirators. According to the information, the contract for the murder of Baba Tarsem Singh was given for Rs 10 lakh. The conspiracy of murder was hatched in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The conspirators had handed over the responsibility of the murder to professional criminals. A total of 13 cases are registered against the first murderer Sarabjit in different states, while five cases are registered against the second murderer Amarjeet alias Bittu. Police have so far arrested four conspirators in this case, which include Dilbag Singh of Shahjahanpur, Amandeep, close to Baba Tarsem Singh and two people.
