Mathura: A major accident took place in Mathura Refinery late Tuesday evening. The refinery exploded and caught fire. 10 employees got burnt in the fire. It is being told that the ABU plant of the refinery was closed for forty days. It was started again on Tuesday.
It is suspected that there was leakage in it, due to which there was an explosion and fire. The explosion was so powerful that its sound was heard up to a kilometer away. Meanwhile, there is news of 10 employees being injured.
Production manager Rajeev is also among the injured. The injured have been admitted to Refinery Hospital and City Institute of Medical Sciences. No official statement has been given by the refinery yet.
