A shocking news has come from Thailand. At least 25 people, including children, are feared dead after a bus carrying students and teachers caught fire in the capital Bangkok. Officials and rescue workers have given this information.

According to reports, Thailand's Transport Minister Suria Jungrunrungkit told reporters at the scene that the bus was carrying 44 people, including children and a teacher, and was traveling from central Uthai Thani province to Ayutthaya in Bangkok for a school trip. A bus caught fire in the afternoon in Pathum Thani province, a northern suburb of the capital.

Home Minister Anutin Charnivirakul said authorities could not yet confirm the death toll because they could not complete investigations at the scene. He said that based on the number of survivors, 25 people are feared dead. He also said that the bus was still so hot that he could not get inside safely.

Videos of this incident are also being seen on social media in which the bus is on fire and a cloud of black smoke is seen coming out of it. The age of the students and other information regarding the incident is not yet available.

A rescue worker at the scene said the bus may have caught fire after a tire burst and it hit a road block. Rescue group Hongsakul Khlong Luang 21 said on social media platform Facebook that at least 10 bodies had been recovered from the bus.
