Mainpuri city is soon going to get relief from the terrible traffic jam on Bhogaon-Shikohabad highway. The administration has expedited work on the plan to construct a new bypass, and the best part of it is that no farmer’s land will be taken without his consent to build the bypass.

Public Works Department (PWD) and Tehsil teams will soon go from village to village to meet the farmers and ‘Agreement letter’ Will get it filled. Only after the farmers agree, the process of land registry will be started.

From where to where will this bypass be built?

This bypass will be built in two phases:

  • First Step: It will start from Merapur Sujapur village near Bhogaon and will reach the four-lane highway going to Etawah. the length of 15.150 kilometers Will happen. Administration to purchase land in first phase 60 crore rupees Will spend.
  • Second step: Later, it will be extended up to Jarmai village on Agra Road.

The Public Works Department has completed the survey and verification of the land, making it clear from where the land will be taken for the bypass.

Land registry may start in December

It is expected that after the completion of the process of taking consent from the farmers from the month of December Land registry work will be started. Once the registration is done, the road construction work will progress rapidly.

Bypass will be built on the land of these 10 villages

The land of farmers of these ten villages has been identified for the first phase:

  4. byonti khurd
  5. wish for
  6. Divanpur Chaudhary
  7. Kachpura
  8. Rajalpur
  9. Ajitganj
  10. hoist
