For the first time in Jharkhand, being concerned about half the population of the state, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has started the Mainiyan Samman Yojana to honor them and empower them economically. Kalpana Soren was addressing the public meeting organized at the Kachhari ground of Khunti and later at Torpa block ground after launching the Mainiya Samman Yatra from Ulihatu, the birthplace of Lord Birsa Munda, on Saturday. He said that the people who ruled the state for a long time never worried about half the population of the state.

The double engine government that ruled the state for five years had filed FIRs against thousands of tribals here. Similarly, Hemant Soren also never made any compromise, because we are coming here after working, not by making any false promises. He said that all the big leaders in the country should be brought here and the Chief Ministers of the states should be called. This does not matter to the brave son of Jharkhand. He will get a befitting reply from the people of Jharkhand in the upcoming battlefield. No one can shake your hopes, dreams and ideology.
State Minister Deepika Pandey said that all the women of the state should express their gratitude to the Chief Minister that for the first time he has come up with this scheme to make them financially successful.

Earlier, after paying homage to Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda in Ulihatu, Mainiya Samman Yatra was started. On reaching Ulihatu, Deputy Commissioner Lokesh Mishra, SP Aman Kumar, Tamar MLA Vikas Munda and JMM District President Zubair Ahmed welcomed him with a bunch of flowers. While addressing the people at Adki Mod and Kitahatu Chowk on the way, he gave detailed information to the people about Mainiya Samman Yojana and other schemes run by the Jharkhand Government. When the caravan of Mainiya Samman Yatra reached Khunti, JMM workers gave a grand welcome to the party leaders participating in the yatra with musical instruments.
